Abu Dhabi Airports Procurement Department Wins at the CIPS Middle East Supply Management Awards 2017

At a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Awards, Abu Dhabi Airports’ Procurement and Logistics Department has won three prestigious awards: Best Supplier Relationship Management; Most Innovative Use of Technology; and Acting Chief Support Officer, Saeed Al Zaabi was named ‘CIPS Procurement and Supply Professional of the Year.’

The CIPS awards validate the outstanding work carried out by Abu Dhabi Airports’ Procurement and Logistics Department and are regarded as an international standard of excellence in the industry. They highlight the great steps that ADAC’s Procurement & Logistics Department has taken to automate processes therefore enabling the company to benefit from more efficient reporting, allowing higher cost savings and enhanced stakeholder satisfaction.

Abu Dhabi Airports’ Acting Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Majeed Al Khoori commented: “These awards are recognition by industry leaders of the great work that our Procurement and Logistics Department does, in particular, their effective supplier management, and their technology driven procedures.”
