Certifications
At Abu Dhabi Airports, we are the first airports company in the region to receive ISO 9001 Quality Management System, 14001 Environment Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification across all of our airports. Our Integrated Management System (IMS) programme also raises our standards to match those recognised internationally.
Our Airports Operations Division has received ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) Certifications across all airport operations activities. In doing so, we became the first airport group in the region to obtain all three certifications.
The third party certification by LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance), in alignment with our corporate mission to embrace a culture of quality and excellence, raises the company’s standard to international recognition.
Receiving ISO and OHSAS certifications confirms that we operate in a manner that promotes health and safety and ensures service quality and efficiency, with minimal impact on the environment.
Our IMS programme complies with all legal and regulatory requirements across our airports and group subsidiaries, including the GCAA CARs, CAAPs and the Abu Dhabi EHSMS. Our management system also verifies that our focus on passenger and general customer satisfaction efforts in line with quality management operations are successful on a global scale.
