Abu Dhabi Airports announces plans to refurbish and expand the runway at Al Bateen Executive Airport

Abu Dhabi Airports announced plans to refurbish and expand the runway at Al Bateen Executive Airport to further boost operational safety levels and enhance airport capability to accommodate larger aircrafts.
Due to the refurbishment work, which will run from May 11 to July 20, 2022 inclusive, the airport will only be open for helicopter traffic.
Abu Dhabi Airports is in close contact with its stakeholders and customers to ensure minimal disruption and a seamless return to full service on July 21, 2022.
