Abu Dhabi Airports won the ‘Best Approach to Risk Mitigation’ from the 2022 CIPS Middle East Excellence in Procurement Awards. Organised by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), the award celebrates exceptional contributions made by procurement professionals, and is recognised as a benchmark for quality and innovative thinking.
Announcing the awards, CIPS emphasised on Abu Dhabi Airports’ agile procurement strategy and safety management, highlighting on the fast-tracked response for health, safety and wellbeing measures. The judges underlined Abu Dhabi Airports’ impressive and fast implementation of regular thermal scanning and on-site staff testing.
