Abu Dhabi Airports announced yesterday that its VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, the international standard for Quality Management System (QMS) for VIP lounge and “meet and assist” services operated by National Aviation Services (NAS).

18^th April, 2018, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi Airports announced yesterday that its VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, the international standard for Quality Management System (QMS) for VIP lounge and “meet and assist” services operated by National Aviation Services (NAS).

The ISO certificate was obtained after the VIP Terminal completed all phases necessary for meeting the standard requirements for the ISO recognition and underwent a critical assessment of the facility’s performance.

Commenting on this noteworthy laurel, the Acting CCO of Abu Dhabi Airports Saoud Al Shamsi said: “It is our pleasure to demonstrate excellence within the airport operations and management, and this certificate is a testament to our drive to ensure compliance with regulations and provision of services in the most cost- and resource-efficient manner, creating unmatched experiences to our passengers”.

Abu Dhabi Airports is always keen to promote excellence and to achieve leadership in light of the directives of the Government of Abu Dhabi. “This recognition validates our efforts to transform the emirate into a global hub for aviation whose services are in accordance with international requirements and standards,” Al Shamsi concluded.

The VIP Terminal offers a luxurious ambience for passengers arriving at or departing from Abu Dhabi International Airport. A private access road allows quick passage into the terminal. A dedicated check-in area, customs and immigration facilities ensure that passengers breeze through all pre-flight formalities. Elegant décor, multiple lounge areas, a large menu selection, Wi-Fi, shower facilities, prayer rooms, smoking area and a variety of other entertainment facilities, makes the VIP Terminal the perfect place to relax and unwind from the stress of traveling.
