Ethics and Compliance
800 06512048 - Ethix360

We understand that upholding the highest standards of ethical behaviour and business conduct contributes to maintaining the proper operating environment and our good reputation.

We aim to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while acting in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and professional standards. In return, we expect the same from our employees, business partners, members of the public and other stakeholders.

Receiving feedback and addressing stakeholder concerns are key to maintaining a healthy working environment. For these purposes, our Compliance Function maintains dedicated channels for raising concerns over unethical activities or behaviours of our employees or potential breaches of applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.

These channels, however, are not intended for passenger suggestions or complaints, promotion of goods and services, seeking job opportunities, or general inquiries.

If you become aware of any potentially illegal, unethical, or inappropriate business conduct by Abu Dhabi Airports or its employees, or if someone purporting to be our representative has made unsolicited contact with you, you are encouraged to report it using the following channels:

Compliance Email: compliance@adairports.ae

Compliance Helpline: WHISTLEBLOWING

Please note that neither of these two channels represents an emergency service. Contact relevant government authorities if your report concerns immediate health, safety, or security threats.

Whistleblowing

Abu Dhabi Airports supports and maintains an open and transparent Speak Up culture without fear of retaliation for reporting instances of potentially illegal, unethical or inappropriate business conduct. Similarly, Abu Dhabi Airports does not tolerate any retaliation against anyone participating in reviews and investigations of the reported concerns.

For these reasons, a confidential channel is maintained by an independent Abu Dhabi Airports third party, which is available from any location 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Reports may be made on an anonymous basis. However, to address the concerns and assist with further review and investigation, those reporting potential violations are encouraged to identify themselves to ensure their protection from retaliation.

If you prefer to stay anonymous:

Please note the unique case number and a PIN you will create before submitting the report to the Compliance Helpline. By clicking on the "Check Status" link on the home screen and entering your case number and PIN, you will be able to:

  • Verify your report status
  • Add follow-up comments and/or documents.
  • Check for questions the Compliance Manager posts and address them in a secure environment.

What happens after I raise my concerns through the Compliance Helpline?

Your report will be reviewed by the Compliance Manager, who will decide on the appropriate course of action depending on the nature of your concerns and the availability of details you provide. If applicable, your report may be routed to the relevant other department within Abu Dhabi Airports.

Post initial review, if the report contains allegations of wrongdoings by Abu Dhabi Airports or its employees, a fact-finding review of the matter will be conducted in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines.
