Airport Advancement

Under a partnership agreement between the Department of Tourism (DTC) and Abu Dhabi Airports, the island's airport has been upgraded to fully certified airport, equipped to receive domestic and short-haul international commercial flights.

At Abu Dhabi Airports, we have invested in an ambitious expansion project to redevelop the airport’s terminal, seaplane and boat terminals, converting them into state-of-the-art facilities.
