Maureen Bannerman is Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports. Maureen oversees all commercial activities across the airports group, ensuring stakeholders and customers using the five airports that Abu Dhabi Airports manage, benefit from the company’s vast array of sophisticated commercial offerings. Bringing an intricate understanding of managing commercial operations for an airports group, Maureen leads the growth of Abu Dhabi Airports’ wider commercial activities.

A highly accomplished leader and seasoned professional with over 20 years’ experience, primarily within the aviation industry, Maureen joined Abu Dhabi Airports in 2022 following a tenure as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of APM Terminals at the Khalifa Bin Salman Port in Bahrain.

Maureen has extensive expertise in the logistics and transport fields, having held positions at renowned organisations such as Serco, Dubai Airports and Network Rail in the UK.

Maureen holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance.
